Youth and Community Toolkit

We are pleased to announce the publication of ‘’Engaging with LGBT and migrant equalities: A Youth and Community Practitioner Toolkit’. You can download a free copy here:

Community and Youth Practitioner Resource

This learning resource is designed to facilitate an exploration of LGBT and migrant lives and, more generally, an engagement with issues of equality and diversity in youth groups and in community and informal education settings.

Dissemination and discussion event

We are planning an event in Glasgow on 30 April, 12.30-4.15 pm, to share ideas and experiences of how to use the resource, and to discuss good practice in engaging with issues of equality and diversity. The event will be an opportunity to:

  • discuss equality and diversity issues in practice (this can be recognised by your employer as a form of training or professional development)
  • get a copy of the resource
  • try out some of the activities in facilitated workshops
  • network with people working in your field

Attendance is free but booking is essential. You can register and view the programme at the link below:

Feedback

We would like feedback from youth and community practitioners about how they use the resource and how it is received. Please consider completing this short questionnaire to help us evaluate the resource.

Thank you for your time – we value your input!
